Karla Bartholomy Memorial Scholarship — Applications Are Open!

Aloha, MSFS families! We're thrilled to announce that applications for the Karla Bartholomy Memorial Scholarship are officially open. This scholarship was created to empower the cellists of Maui, honoring Karla's legacy of supporting young musicians in need.

Here's what you need to know:

• Open to all K-12 cellists on the island of Maui

• Covers lesson costs for 6

  months at MSFS — a $1,250 value

• While open to all qualified applicants, special consideration is given to candidates facing financial hardship.

• Applications are due October 15th, 2026

• The scholarship recipient will be announced November 1st, 2026

• Only one applicant is selected per year
