Fantasia for Strings by Elliot del Borgo is an energetic piece in familiar ABA form. The first section is vigorous with a rhythmic pulse at its core. The middle section is a contrast with a melodic statement carried by the first violins. A reprise of the first section and a strong ending completes this interesting work. (4:13)
