The “Soil” Stradivari of 1714 may be the most seen and heard violin of this generation having been played by the great Itzhak Perlman for nearly 30 years. Named after Amédée Soil, a late 19th Century Belgian collector, this is a beautiful reproduction crafted with special care in the archings and graduations for a brilliant, singing quality. The fiery flaming ascends from the center back joint and is highlighted by the rich varnish. These violins speak clearly and quickly with a sparkling, powerful voice ideal for serious players. Adjusted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings. Body length - 352 mm; Upper Bout - 162 mm; Lower Bout - 206.5 mm. Instrument only.
